I woke up and Parkinson's wife made me a big omelet for breakfast before I headed west. I skipped all of the excitement and drove across Kansas to Colorado. I went to the REI in Colorado Springs and stocked up on some things including a first aid kit which I had sold in Philadelphia. I drove halfway to Ridgeway, Colorado and camped at a campground on the Arkansas River.
